Former Infowars Host David Knight Reveals That Alex Jones Fired Him Because Intel Operative Steve Pieczenik Demanded It
For many years, Alex Jones was the only host on his radio/podcast network, Infowars. Then almost ten years ago, Jones hired a co-host named David Knight. However, about a year and a half ago, Jones and Knight had a falling out and Jones fired Knight.
Knight has had his own daily, 3-hour podcast (The David Knight Show) ever since. Access to it can be found at Knight’s website TheDavidKnightShow.com.
On his March 18th show, Knight revealed that he was fired by Jones because a frequent guest on Jones’ show, intelligence operative and fake news purveyor Steve Pieczenik, had demanded it. A number of times Pieczenik had gone onto Jones’s show and spewed fake news. After mass shootings, for instance, he alleged that it they were fake and that no one had actually died.
Pieczenik did this to make Jones and his network look disreputable. (It is unknown why Jones would continue to have Pieczenik as a guest after him trying to discredit Jones, but he did.) Pieczenik tried to do that once on Knight’s Infowars show, but Knight was having none of it. He refused to give Pieczenik a platform.
On Knight’s March 18th show, he was was sharing a story about a long-lime Forbes magazine reporter (Adam Andrzejewski) who was fired because he investigated Anthony Fauci too much. The title of the article was “How Fact-Finding Fauci Led To My Cancellation At Forbes - The inside story of how it happened.” Andrzejewski’s article can be found here:
.
Knight began sharing the article at about 36:20 minutes into his show (depending upon which version of the podcast you listen to). He began describing how his firing by Alex Jones was similar.
At about 58:18 into his show, Knight began describing how he was fired by Alex Jones because Steve Pieczenik had demanded it. This problems began shortly after Donald Trump lost the 2020 U.S. Presidential election.
Two days after the election, Pieczenik began alleging that everything was under control because Trump had 20,000 federal troops beginning to make arrests of the many people who had engaged in election fraud throughout the nation. Pieczenik also alleged that the election was actually a sting operation because Trump had specially-prepared ballots in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Those ballots purportedly had blockchain watermarks on them and that they were all tied into a quantum computing system. Knight believed that those claims were ridiculous and he pushed back on them.
Knight also pushed back on Jones’ and Pieczenik’s efforts to “Stop The Steal.” Knight believed that the only way that that effort would have been possible was if disputed state legislatures had sent to Congress for the official Vote Certification more than one slate of Electors. However, none of the states did send more that one slate of Electors, so Congress had no choice but to certify the slates that they had been given.
On his show, Knight related how Jones’ producer had approached Knight and told him that he had better back off from opposing Jones’ and Pieczenik’s initiatives because Pieczenik was demanding that Jones fire Knight. But Knight did not back off. Shortly after that, Jones did fire Knight.
